@anandman Didn't want to. The CPU was the great deal (Intel Q9550). The mobo is a throwaway, but I'm too cheap to buy the right board now. |

Motherboard can't see CPU w/o BIOS upgrade, and can't flash BIOS w/o getting through POST. Had to borrow an older CPU from a friend. |
Bought a CPU/Motherboard combo for $100 less than cost of CPU alone from Fry's, but the mb did not recognize the CPU without a BIOS upgrade. |
