@haloscan cool - I use you for comments on both my blogs.
Cool, the V8 Javascript engine is being reintegrated back into the Webkit project. http://twurl.nl/hxcdt8
@unixdaemon sys.exit(1) is fine for that - raise SystemExit(1) also works...
@unixdaemon It's more normal to just let your program terminate without explicitly calling exit though...
@unixdaemon raise SystemExit
Updated the IPy in Action examples to the latest code drop. Two weeks running IronPython source code updates have not required any changes.
@orestis82 SynergyKM stopped working for me - so I'm just using the command line. Works wonderfully.
Ah now I have synergy working - and can control my laptop from my desktop - it is a thing of beauty.
@orestis82 Cool - and thanks.
@orestis82 You up for being a session chaor at any of them?
@headius Ok, maybe it stutters a bit. I don't *usually* resize that quickly though. :-)
@headius Hmm... what OS are you using? No stutter when I resize on Mac OS X 10.5.
@headius Twhirl is an air application. On the Mac it certainly isn't sluggish - likely to the app's fault.
@unixdaemon Cool :-)
@unixdaemon Come to PyCon UK - there is a great tutorial 'Introduction to Python' on Friday 12th. http://pyconuk.org
@unixdaemon - every '>' counts as three characters to twitter (it is sent as '>').
Basically finished preparing my 'Testing Desktop Applications' talk for PyCon UK. 22 slides. Just a short video to prepare...
BBC outsourced their live IT system and can only deploy systems on an old version of Perl (5.6): hence Perl on Rails. http://twurl.nl/5z7lg1
@oreillymedia do people still do Perl web programming? ;-)
