I just thought I'd give everybody an update
The End
With that Van Gogh closed the trunk on Sgt. Owen Key and one weary traveler on this desolate road.
"All those who heed my words shall know peace, while those who will not listen shall know my wrath.”
“For there is a reckoning coming, and I am that reckoning," Van Gogh said.
As for the body, that name is quiet morbid. So instead we shall show respect by calling him by his true name; Sgt. Owen Key.
For though this man fancies himself as a preacher, the press has taken it upon themselves to dub him Van Gogh.
The preacher then lifted the stranger into the trunk that held the body. Although, these names seem no longer relevant.
With that, the preacher opened the trunk reveling the dead body of the man who's ears had been kept in the glove compartment.
“And the only way to insure that day comes is to eliminate those who will not listen.”
The preacher stopped dragging the stranger once he reached the rear of the Chevy.
“Me, I’ve found that purpose," the preacher continued, "My purpose is to insure that day comes.”
He then began to drag the stranger's limp body out of the car, and into the torrential rain.
“Ya see, I've always dreamed of a day when all of our Lord’s followers would live in peace, and know their purpose.” the preacher said. ...
After severing the stranger’s ears, the preacher got out of the car and walked around to the passenger side door and opened it.
He then pulled out a knife and began to cut off the stranger’s ears. The stranger tried to scream, but nothing came out.
“Well if you’re not gonna listen to the word of God, then I guess you’re not gonna need those ears of yours now are ya?” the preacher said. ...
The Chevy pulled off to the side of the road, as the rain continued to fall.
"I tried to tell you the word of God," the preacher said, "I tried, but you would NOT LISTEN!”
