@sweetums I don't understand why you can add multiple user accounts at once, but not multiple addresses to a list at once in GAFYD

@kenliu I've got the 30mm version in my wishlist. less expensive, but still huge.
Friend just introduced me to a great comic "we the robots" http://tinyurl.com/2umbl9
language barriers can be painful, but this is the cost of cross-cultural work. Just grant more time for communication.
@kenliu yes, I've been drooling over that lens :)
@decafbad that's always bad. Don't people read Tufte? :-P
@decafbad I've only used P4V. I must say, I think it's not so great. Not as awful as some other stuff, but not *good*.
and now back to our regularly scheduled coding.
ah yes, another day of debugging via Webex *cue wailing and gnashing of teeth*
I guess I never imagined I'd have to say, "Let's not eat the sand" to another human.
for now, I'm going to make some less-generalized code, and refactor it when I figure out a better way :(
where are my stuffed animals when I need them? Grrr...
Playing with the Computer with cousin in law.
@yourdon Wow, I had totally forgotten about Chandler. Thanks for the link!
just convinced myself to extract all device-specific commands out of the code and put them into a config file. I think this is "pragmatic"
make this code work... Yapple Dapple!
@sstrudeau be careful of the sauce!
just refactored a bunch of access routines so that all the parameters are read from a DOM object. Man, this is so cool!
@dsandler as long as you don't see Batman and E in the same room at the same time, you're safe. Otherwise, you should show 'im what's for!
Boss just called to tell me I'm not getting a raise based on my 2007 work. That's fair, since I didn't work here in 2007.
