@moo_au About to find out. iPod seems to be stuck in "must recover" mode on PC. Upgrading PC to itunes 8. Fingers crossed.

Just plugged in iPod and it's come up in recovery mode. WTF?

@afpooley iTunes 8 has new Genius thingy. After scan of your library you can select a song, hit the button and get playlist of "like" songs.
