why doesn't chrome install to program files? i suppose you could carry it around on a USB drive if you really wanted.
@kevindente are you a frequent zoomer? I've never come across a reason to consistently use any browser's zoom function (except iPhone's)
@joshlewis but until then there are some very compelling use cases for silverlight. don't hate just because it's MS. i know that can be hard
@joshlewis personally i hope html/ajax advance to the point to put flash and silverlight both to death
@joshlewis besides openness, what other bad things? if it wasn't developed by an OS/browser maker would you feel differently?

Interesting that Chrome doesn't completely block a popup, just "minimizes" it. Doesn't DoubleClick server up a ton of popups?
@joshlewis what do you have against silverlight? please don't say "we already have flash"
