Openfiler has Software RAID, we have RAID 1 configured and it seems synchronization and mirroring is working fine too.

Openfiler NAS is doing well in our tests. I hope, we can have some benchmark report with numbers. We get throughput of 50 Mbps on our LAN.

built custom NAS using cheap hardware and Openfiler, would be integrating in office today. FreeNAS - I like but is it stable enough?
