@marick I have gotten into camera vid editing and that's where I c big render times. For screencasts not so much. MBP is fine 4 small jobs. |

@marick Do you do video editing on an MBP? I use FCE & my only complaint is rendering/encoding takes unbearably long. Afraid of burning cpu. |

@burke_eric I recommend using an external HD as a scratch disk with FCE. Everything that program does hits the disk (a lot). |
