Zack & Miri...(08, Smith) Surprisingly boring, not especially funny. Lost me at gratuitous, nasty poo/face splash. IMHO, Smith's nadir.

Pride & Glory (08, O'Connor) Booo to the naysayers. This is a gritty, gripping cop drama with top-notch ensemble acting. On my 2008 Top 10.

Quarantine (08, Dowdle) An unexpected hoot, as we were the only 2 people in the theater, thus allowing us to yell stuff at the characters.

Rachel Getting Married (08, Demme) As good as Hathaway is as the needy, wrecked sister, DeWitt, Winger & Irwin are gut-punching perfect .
